Felt Making

This workshop is wet felt making, where you use warm soapy water and friction to turn fluffy wool into sheets of felt fabric.

This workshop gives people the chance to learn how to make felt. Participants can create a picture with their felt a pattern or create a piece which is a brilliant colour.

Participants are encourage to bind their own felt using the rolling mat, but this can be exhausting, which is why I am there to help! This is to ensure that everyone can go away with a well bound piece of felt.

The felt we make can be used for other projects is they wish. It can be sewn into to add more detail and can be made into things like cards or accessories. I can also teach 3D felt making where we can make things like bowls or wizard hats.
