A few weeks ago I started a Prism Arts project with another artist working with ex-offenders to create an ambitious salmon puppet to be part of the Carlisle Puppet Pageant, celebrating the haaf net fishing in the Solway. The Wishing Chair was a workshop I designed and ran for The Penrith Library (Cumbria) inspired by the Enid Blyton books about the wishing chair in 2012. The workshop encouraged the children to think of the adventure they would go on the wishing chair and given a square of fabric to draw this adventure on.
